Disinfection & Biofouling Control

AquaZeta offers specialized chemical solutions to maintain water quality, prevent microbial growth, and ensure the longevity of your systems. Our products target harmful microorganisms, residual chlorine, and biofouling in industrial and municipal water systems.

Chemicals for UV cleaning

Function - Cleaning chemical for UF

Effectively removes calcium, iron, silicate, manganese-containing deposits, and aluminum hydroxide deposits. Compatible with all types of membranes

Function - Cleaning chemical for UF

Effective against organic deposits, compatible with UF and NF
membranes, balanced buffer composition

With the use of standard rinses, membranes are not fully cleaned, which leads to a reduction in the time between rinses.
Unwashed deposits undergo “aging” processes – rearrangement of molecular bonds, resulting in increased stability, and membrane fouling
becomes irreversible.
Our rinses are designed to achieve maximum cleaning and prevent irreversible membrane fouling.

Sodium hypochlorite is often used for iron removal and as a hypochlorite at the pretreatment stage.
Active chlorine reduces the service life of membranes, so if
using hypochlorite, chlorine absorbers should be used. We

Control of biofouling and bioactivity

Function - Agent for continuous or intermittent dosing before membrane systems

Based on an organobromine compound, this biocide is traditionally employed in reverse osmosis systems and is fully membrane- compatible. We recommend continuous reagent dosing for optimal
performance.

Function - Chemical for preservation or periodic dosing, including pretreatment system applications

Organosulfur-based compound. Offers enhanced stability but
demonstrates slower reaction kinetics compared to 471.

Function - Agent for continuous dosing upstream of reverse osmosis membranes

Based on a bromine-nitrogen compound. A new product, with dosing
rates comparable to 471, while being significantly more cost-effective

Biocontrol chemicals play a crucial role in preventing biofouling, a significant issue that can severely impact system performance. By controlling microbial growth and biofilm formation, biocides help maintain the efficiency and productivity of the system at optimal levels.
AquaZeta 487 represents an innovative solution in this field, providing highly effective protection against biofouling while offering improved cost efficiency compared to traditional alternatives. This advanced formulation ensures long- lasting antimicrobial action and helps extend the operational life of the system components.
